🚨🗣 if you live in NYC please be so so careful with yellow cabs, especially if you’re black. last night around 1am, one of my good friends noticed he was not being taken to his destination and when the driver refused to let him out, my friend had to jump out of the car. the driver chased him two blocks, got out, pushed him onto the street and said “I just want to see another one of you on the ground” and took his beret and glasses. we don’t have his cab # but please please be careful & take uber / lyft / gett alternatively if you can.

this is like Katrina all over again and I’m scared as fuck
for whatever reason this isn’t on the news, but Louisiana is in a state of emergency. it has been raining for 4 days straight and we are trapped in Baton Rouge.
All the highways leading out are flooded.
The Amite levee has broken and the water is rising.
At least 3 dead from drowning.
People’s houses are completely underwater and we are being told to evacuate.
There is nowhere to go.
People are traversing through the streets in boats.
If you’re the praying kind, please. Please pray.I’m so afraid.
